The Newbould Wireone uses precision ground face gears, for Quick, Easy and Precise positioning of the workpiece in the EDM or Grinder. Sample Application: The 5-C adapter can be removed/replaced without disturbing the part clamped in the collet. This timesaving feature allows the part to be switched from one Newbould Wireone head to another Newbould Wireone head without losing position, or to put the concentric body of the adapter in a vee block as shown for inspection. The patented Newbould Wireone System was designed by Rj Newbould the inventor of the Newbould Indexer.  In 1974 the Newbould Indexer was made part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C..  It is only the 28th "Basic Mechanism" ever invented.  It is direct reading for the angle, and capable of indexing every one arc second.
