To
the left is a custom built stainless steel
air spindle which is used either in EDM or
grinding applications. We equipped one with
a frameless motor and encoder for spinning
and controlled indexing while totally submerged
in WEDM.

permanent collection in the Smithsonian in Washington
D.C. in 1974.
